Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Rehab Therapy Tech to join our dynamic team where we offer facility-based and home-based patient care. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, specialized rehabilitation services within our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and outpatient facilities. With a commitment to restoring maximum levels of function and independence, your role as a Rehab Therapy Tech will be pivotal in assisting therapists in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with various medical conditions. Assist physical, occupational, and speech therapists in the treatment of patients Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas Conduct routine checks to ensure therapy areas are safe and clean Assist patients in moving to or from treatment areas Support therapists in documentation and management of patient records Engage with patients, providing emotional support and encouragement Educate patients and families on treatment plans and therapy objectives Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good physical condition and stamina Knowledge of basic healthcare and hygiene standards Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Basic computer and documentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPR certification Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of a similar healthcare support program is preferred
