Job Description:
Responsible for all marketing and sales activities, from lead
generation through close. Develop and implement Marketing Plan to
expand customer base. Develop and implement company strategy to
partner with potential customers and enable them to be successful
with company product by working through design, performance, supply
and pricing concerns. Work with company distributors, applications
engineers and president to support company operations for the
achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and
long-term account goals in line with company vision and
values.Responsibilities:* Develop and implement marketing and sales
plans in conjunction with President, detailing activities to follow
during the fiscal year, which will focus on meeting or exceeding
sales quotas.* Study technical uses of lasers for medical,
military, LiDAR, home and any applications that may be useful for
Company products.--Develop a working understanding of the
applications for company products and identify new high-potential
strategic opportunities for company products and capabilities.*
Develop business strategy of Company. This entails identifying
potential strategic partners that can best utilize Company's
product capabilities, engage to partner with prospects and develop
mutually-beneficial relationships where both parties can support
business going forward.--With technical and market insight gained,
develop and update technical and product roadmaps; consult with
Engineering and President to finalize.* Screen potential business
deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential
and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities;
recommending investments.* Develop and manage reseller channels to
maximize sales coverage in international markets.* Demonstrate the
ability to network within small and large companies alike and carry
on a business conversation with business owners and decision
makers.* Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a
sale resulting in the taking of market share from larger
competitors.* Sell consultatively and make recommendations to
prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers
to their business issues.* Maintain accurate records of all sales
and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations,
closed sales, and follow-up activities within CRM program.* Create
and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that
identify prospects' business problems and the SemiNex solutions to
their problems.* Demonstrate the ability to gather and submit
detailed business information for specifying, pricing and
presentation of solutions to identified prospects' needs.* Document
all quotations, customer presentations, and trip reports by saving
detailed files on SemiNex server.* Provide limited technical
support to customers on issues and refer more detailed issues to
SemiNex engineering with clear and detailed communications and
arrange collaborative cross-functional meetings as needed.* Study
technical use of lasers for medical, military, LiDAR and home
applications and develop a working understanding of the applicable
applications for SemiNex products and identify new sales
opportunities for products.* Adhere to all company policies,
procedures and business ethics codes.* Relationships and Roles:*
Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high
levels of Client Satisfaction.* Demonstrate ability to interact and
cooperate with all company employees. * Build trust, value others,
communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus
on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively
and demonstrate high integrity.* Maintain professional internal and
external relationships that meet company core values. * Proactively
establish and maintain effective working team relationships with
all support departments.* Requirements:* 5-20 years of experience
in sales for electronic components industry.--Experience in lasers,
laser diodes or optical components is strongly desirable.*
Experience with military and medical laser applications is a big
plus.* Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and
requirements.* Willingness to travel and work with global
responsibilities.* Proven ability to achieve aggressive sales
quotas.Work Location: Peabody, MA and/or home office.Company
