Job Description:

Radiologic Technologist responsible for the performance of
radiologic procedures and studies while helping to maintain and
manage all Radiographic Equipment. The RT will work closely with
all clinical team members in this unique role. The RT will be
provided with the education to complete all of the shared
responsibilities and clinical tasks such as triage, testing,
procedures, and other patient care within their scope of
practice.Job Responsibilities:Radiology ResponsibilitiesRadiologic
duties listed but not limited to:Prepare and perform radiologic
procedures following CMD and ARRT protocols and proceduresUtilize
all radiation protection and shielding equipment following ALARA
principlesDocument completed radiographic studies in EMR and
PACSNavigate PACS system: confirm studies for interpretation, send
studies to outside facilities, communicate with radiologists and
clarify discrepancies with teleradiologyEnsure radiology equipment
is in working order, notify management and call service when
neededUtilize a variety of radiographic equipment efficientlyStock
radiology supplies and note supplies that need re-orderPrecept
students and staff members in applicable clinicsClinic
ResponsibilitiesAssist with other clinic functions as outlined
below in order to ensure superior customer satisfaction and
operation:Patient triage, to include but not limited to: vital
signs; medical history; observational examinationAssist with
patient exams, testing and procedures under the direction of the
provider (i.e. I&Ds, KB1 splinting, KB2 etc.)Assist with the
following testing & procedures:Vision testingHearing/audiometry
testingUrine drug screen testingBreath alcohol testingLift
testingImpact TestingEye wash flushingWound soaking &
cleansingPoint of care testing: Strep, FLU, RSV, SARs-CoV-2,
Capillary Glucose, Mono, HCG, Urinalysis, FOBT/GuaiacTelephone
communication to include but not limited to verification &
clarification of outside radiology orders & requests for copies of
radiographs taken at CMD.Ensures operation of clinical equipment by
completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs
or reporting repair needs to clinic PMKeeps work area and exam
rooms stocked, clean and orderlyMaintains accurate, complete
records & reports including documenting patient education and care
in EMR and all other applicable areasInteract with patients in a
positive and helpful manner, provide information and assistance as
neededComplies with all ConvenientMD policies, protocols &
procedures including maintaining confidentiality with all patient
information by upholding HIPAA laws and rulesParticipates in the
training of other team members.Other duties as required or
assignedQualifications:Current state licensureARRT certificationAHA
BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification Preferred; American Red
Cross BLS Certification AcceptedMust be able to work 12hr shifts
and weekendsPhysical Requirements:Requires the ability to stand and
sit for hours at a time. Some bending and stooping is required.Must
be able to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical
requirements.Must be able to lift 50lbs.There's a job and then
