We also help clients find and implement opportunities to reduce costs, improve cycle times, minimize customs duties and enhance the visibility and security of their supply chains. The complex issues that international companies need to address both before and after cargo physically moves are our specialty. Our employees provide key services including HTS classification, duty drawback, reconciliation, import and export compliance assessment, duty recovery and minimization, and CTPAT/supply chain security program implementation. In short, we help our clients achieve faster, cheaper and safer trade.Job DescriptionObjective is to assist with project management, set-up and support of core accounts. In addition there will be times to support the supervision of aspects of the Reconciliation department at direction of the area manager, and at times to be assigned to file Recon entries on behalf of our clients' using a working knowledge and demonstrated ability to properly navigate and interpret Reconciliation Filing Requirements. You must possess the ability to read sometime complex language, understand guidance issued by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, along with knowledge of the import process and various other import trade compliance topics. This role will have direct reports.Account Retention, Strategic Responsibilities* Continually seek improvement in procedures and services to create more efficient andcost effective operations.* Continually search for and implement cost savings within Reconciliation team (whether throughefficiencies or hard cost savings).* Design and manage QBR (Quarterly Business Review) process with the client/account input.* Maintain and participate in scheduled QBRs.* Involve Key Department Managers/Team Managers in the QBR process.* Facilitate communication between Reconciliation team and client/account* Facilitate cooperation and positive working relationship with 3rd party vendors that may be part of a client's support team* Communicate technology updates and tools proactively.Account Retention, Tactical Responsibilities (working Through Others)* Maintain all account records in the Tradewin CRM tool* Keep Sales Proposal Templates updated - with current rates and service offerings* Coordinate RFQs and rate requests (Responses and Bids).* Provide clear instructions on operational requirements and expectations of clients/accounts so that team members may develop relevant supporting SOP's* Ensure team members are maintaining / updating SOPs as clients/accounts business needs change.* Assist and support all Tradewin in-house team members that may be supporting same client/account with different service offerings.* Establish and direct all reports required to evaluate Tradewin performance. (KPI's)* Establish target performance metrics with the account and team member input.* Ensure that a functioning and agreed upon invoicing - payment process is in place. Make sure this is included in the SOP.* If a third party payment center is involved, ensure process flow and contacts for escalation is in place in SOP and shared with our Accounting department.* Assist with collections on past dues over 30 days.* Provide assistance in resolution of questions and disputes.* Set up Management reports to ensure visibility, consistency, and data integrity.Account Development, Strategic Responsibilities* Continually search for and implement cost savings for your client base by improving processes and eliminating waste.* Establish, maintain and review account objectives using Quarterly Business review with input of key personnel to provide back to clients.* Identify opportunities and keep Tradewin's CRM updated accordingly.* Be dedicated to the success of Tradewin and the Reconciliation program using ethical business practices, personal commitment, passion & sacrifice, and an obsession with the fundamental details of running a key business team within the unit.Account Development, Tactical Responsibilities* Travel when necessary within region to branch offices, and account customers to resolve issues, and maintain customer information and satisfaction.* Update key customer contacts with industry information through newsflashes, insights and global news that directly affect them.* Maintain lines of communication with all key contacts - locally, regionally or internationally - as needed within account's organization.* Maintain updated list of all key contacts per Client/Account in Tradewin CRM* Keep client informed who is assigned to their account on the Tradewin side* Ensure advanced notice of service irregularities.* Client facing training on Reconciliation processQualificationsQualifications* LCB strongly preferred* College degree or equivalent business experience preferred* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - leaning heavily on Excel and Access* Knowledge of ACE system and the pulling of reports * Strong interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication/presentation skills* Problem Solving/Critical thinking skills* Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures* Reconciliation experience preferred* Project Management experience a preferred qualification* Prior team management experience preferred* Preferred candidate will also have a knowledge of other facets of trade compliance and linkage to Reconciliation process* Preferred candidate will also have experience with data analysis* Demonstrated customer service skillsAdditional InformationTradewin offers excellent benefits including* Paid Vacation, Holiday, Sick Time * Health Plan: Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental and Vision* Life and Long Term Disability Insurance * 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan (US only)* Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Training and Personnel Development ProgramAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
