Company:DirexionLocation:Remote or Hybrid (Boston, MA preferred)Compensation:$30-$50 per hour (based on experience)Commitment:Part-time, freelanceAbout the RoleWe're seeking a freelance digital designer to help streamline and execute creative projects for our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong design skills, sharp attention to detail, and experience creating digital, social, and video content. You'll collaborate closely with our in-house graphic designer and social media manager to ensure all visual assets align with brand guidelines, while finding opportunities to bring fresh, engaging energy to our campaigns. If you have a knack for elevating existing templates with precision and consistency, and can also dream up scroll-stopping social media assets, this role is for you.You'll contribute to both production and creative work: updating templates and executing design assets for advertising collateral, articles, email campaigns, and events, as well as developing original visual content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms. This role calls for a strong design foundation, an eye for social trends, and the ability to make market news both informative and entertaining.Responsibilities

• Create and refine digital assetsfor articles, websites, social media campaigns, emails, events, and marketing materials.
• Format and resize imagesfor multiple platforms, including web, email, and social media.
• Update existing design templateswith new information, including financial data, tickers, disclosure, and leverage points.
• Assist with social media graphics, ensuring timely and relevant content.
• Stay informed onmarket trends and financial newsto help create visually compelling, data-driven content.
• Produce short-form videosfor social media campaigns.
• Assist with motion graphics and video updates, including populating Adobe After Effects templates for market recap videos.
• Support product launchesby developing graphics and adapting existing assets.
• Enhance financial graphs and charts, ensuring clarity and visual impact.
• Ensure brand consistencyacross all design materials.What We're Looking For
  • 2-3 years of experiencein graphic design, digital design, or multimedia content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, InDesign, Lightroom).
  • Strong sense oflayout, typography, and branding.
  • Experience withmotion graphics and video editing(After Effects, Premiere, Rush).
  • Strong knowledge ofsocial media trendsand platform-specific design best practices.
  • Ability towork independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
