Wound Care Nurse Job DescriptionMass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team in Peabody, Massachusetts.Job SummaryThe Wound Care Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care for inpatients. This role requires a strong understanding of wound care principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities

• Assess patients' wounds and develop individualized care plans
• Implement evidence-based wound care practices and interventions
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and familiesRequirements
  • Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Certification in Wound Care Nursing strongly preferred
