The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.Compensation: $19 / hr - $22 / hr - depending on experienceHow you will make an impact:

• Performing fitness assessments.
• Create an appropriate exercise program, unique to the clients abilities and goals for both 1-1 and group personal training.
• Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques while using gym equipment.
• Knowledge of basic water chemistry testing and teaching aquatic classes.
• Developing exciting group exercise classes in a safe and engaging environment.
• Maintaining a clean fitness and aquatic area for members.
• Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.What we offer:

    • Associate's degree in Health Education or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
    • Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
