Our large client was just awarded a TSA award of $781.2 million to procure additional CT X-Ray scanners for airport checkpoints. This company now has an immediate need to hire 6 - fulltime Assemblers on 1st Shift. 6am to 3: 30pm 9/80 work schedule which means every other Friday off.

These Assemblers will perform a variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production assembly and subassembly operations to build and assemble units such as printed circuit boards, modules, chassis drawers, cable harnesses, and simple electronic and mechanical subassemblies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Performs activities in preparation for product assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts, wiring and fastening terminal connections
* Assembles and installs various electrical or electronic components where operation and sequence are specified by blueprints, wire lists, diagrams, or established operations practices
* Uses various hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers
* May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment
* Build to bill of materials (BOM) or assembly drawing and check document revisions in Agile
* This role may support AAG assembly, kit prep, transformer assembly, component selection, service operations
* May perform solder touch-up or solder of parts
* May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly equipment
* Mechanical assemblers will build assemblies of medium complexity using basic tools procedures and fasteners

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of related experience
* Follows written and verbal instructions is required
* US citizenship required
* Experience As An Auto Technician Would Work As Well
