patient-focused, innovation-driven company to inspire you and
empower you to shine? Join us as an EDPP Solution Architect Lead in
our Cambridge, MA office where you will lead the platform
architecture and platform engineering group for the Enterprise Data
Platforms & Products Group at Takeda ensuring the enterprise data
services are available, performant, cost-effective, and supported.
You will also Be an essential member of the EDPP leadership team
and an important contributor to Takeda's Enterprise Architecture,
engaging in a collaborative way to understand the business domain
including strategic needs and roadmaps; collaborate with the
functional area to solve unique and high complex technology
Architecture or business problems, build capabilities, and shape
technology strategy. As part of theEnterprise Data Platforms and
Projects team, you will report to the Head of Enterprise Data
Platforms & Products.How you will contribute:
- Lead EDPP / Enterprise Architecture platform and
platform-engineering topics that are linked to the definition and
maintenance of our EDPP platforms, ensuring that our requirements
are met
- Lead the EDPP Platform Architecture and Platform Engineering
organization, focusing on personal and team development assignment
and management of goals, and professional wellbeing
- Desire to "One Takeda" through architecture simplification,
application rationalization, and reduced cost to achieve synergies
and benefits, focusing on assigned areas
- Lead the delivery of both defined and ad-hoc Enterprise
Architecture services to an assigned business domain including the
development of strategies and roadmaps
- Direct and expert business capability models and technology
reference models focused on data architecture, data lifecycle, and
data services
- Lead the development of essential standards, guidance, and
reference architectures as a leader of at least one Architecture
Domain Team, along with an extended Architecture Community of
Practice
- Influence and expert in Architecture Governance, including
Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Architecture Innovation
Committee (AIC)
- Lead and influence the development of capabilities which will
create results
- Use in-depth experience with architecture, design, data,, and
standards together with and clear view on Enterprise Leadership and
Product Management to advise on multiple levels of complexity in
Architecture
- Lead the roadmap and implementation of data service
capabilities from data acquisition, data integration, data usage,
and data securityMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree. Master's degree in Information Technology,
Computer Sciences, or related field. a significant business and
technology background is a requirement for the role.
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning and business
analysis
- 6+ years related pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical consulting
work
- 7+ years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as
pharmaceutical business, information, solution or technical
architecture, application development, middleware, information
analysis, database management, or operations in a multitier
environment
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture
frameworks/methodologies such as TOGAF (preferred), DODAF, FEAF,
