Job Description:

Clean Harbors is looking for a Demand Planner to sit in Norwell, MA. The Demand Planner performs customer and product level trend analysis to project future and feed into sales and production plans. Supports volume assumptions for financial plans. Works with sales personnel and customers to develop volume plans by products in order to ensure supply chain capability and service levels. Liaison between sales and supply chain to communicate changes (reductions, increases, new products, new customers) and perform Sales & Operations Planning activities (S&OP). Assimilates and presents performance metrics to the organization. Forecasts accuracy, OTIF, inventory and utilization. Why work for Clean Harbors? Competitive wages Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment Group 401K with company matching component Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement Positive and safe work environments RESPONSIBILITIES Supports production schedule development to ensure alignment with capacity, lead times, and material availability Utilize MRP principles to monitor inventory levels Monitors shop floor output and proactively adjusts plans to address bottlenecks or delays in production Collaborate with various departments to maintain clear communication on production goals and challenges Implement and manage materials planning strategies to optimize production flow and resource utilization Generate reports on inventory, production, and procurement metrics to inform decision-making Identify areas for improvement in the material management process and production planning process, suggest strategies for enhancement Demonstrated understanding of production planning principles with the ability to develop and adjust schedules in line with operational and customer priorities Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes and acting in a safe manner at all time Other assigned duties QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or Related field required 3 to 5 years’ experience in analysis, data management, and reporting experience Excellent verbal/written communication skills, Presentation skills Project management skills Good time management skills Good organization skills Attention to detail Wondering what to expect in starting your career with Clean Harbors?
