Join Performance Foodservice, a trailblazer in food distribution, as a Non CDL Delivery Driver within our Black River Produce division, driving locally to deliver food and food-related products seamlessly to our diverse clientele including family-owned restaurants and large nationwide chains. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our high standards of timely and professional delivery services are met, upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction and supply chain efficiency. Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport food and food-related products to multiple locations according to scheduled routes. Inspect delivery vehicle daily ensuring all supply and safety equipment is in order. Load and unload vehicle, verifying loads against shipping papers, and ensuring complete and accurate deliveries. Manage invoices and necessary paperwork related to deliveries and pickups. Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients during deliveries. Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and transportation laws. Excellent driving skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to lift heavy objects regularly Good understanding of transportation and safety codes Solid communication and interpersonal skills Valid state driver’s license Clean driving record DOT medical card (Company-provided upon hiring)
