Job Description:
Year Up is seeking a dedicated Education Project Manager to lead
initiatives aimed at empowering young adults through targeted
educational programs. This role involves the strategic planning,
execution, and evaluation of projects that align with Year Up's
mission to bridge the opportunity divide. As an Education Project
Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of
educational curricula and partnerships, ensuring they meet the
objectives of effectiveness and accessibility while fostering an
environment of continuous learning and improvement. Develop project
scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and
ensuring technical feasibility. Ensure resource availability and
allocation, manage project budgets and timelines. Measure project
performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using
appropriate verification techniques. Report and escalate to
management as needed. Establish and maintain relationships with
third parties/vendors. Create and maintain comprehensive project
documentation. Coordinate internal resources and third
parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Proven
ability to solve problems creatively. Strong familiarity with
project management software tools, methodologies, and best
practices. Excellent analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills
and extremely resourceful. Proven ability to complete projects
according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Project
Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Experience
with educational non-profits is a plus.
