Job Description Customer Service Representative Peabody, MA Up to $24.00 per hour depending on experience Growing manufacturing company seeking Customer Service Representative-Day Shift Are you looking for continued growth and development? Hourly compensation of up to $24/hour Medical & Dental Insurance Paid Vacation 401k Matching Paid Life Insurance Long Term Disability Insurance Based out of Peabody, MA Summary of the Customer Service Representative Facilitates customer---s orders for product, serving as liaison between customers, sales, and manufacturing, by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative Maintains relationships with customers via telephone and email, receives all art, orders and requests for pricing as well as keeping them up to date on the status of their orders in process. Speaks directly with prospective customers collecting customer information and product specifications. Receives purchase orders from customers via email, fax or telephone. Reviews all aspects of the order before accepting order and confirming: Art is available and ready to print Pricing is correct (if not, correct and review with customer) Production time and resources are available Customer is in good credit standing Customer Service Representative coordinates artwork through the process-all art is sent directly to the CSR who will: Determine availability of cutting die and cylinders: If no die is available, will confer with customer to either change the size or order the correct die If die available but tooled for other stock will coordinate with production to have the die tested for this order Determine that all information matches layout of the art (rewind, colors, etc) CSR will monitor the proof all the way through the process to make sure that is keeps moving from department to customer and finally to production. Holds all new production orders until customer approves plate proofs, product design, and other specifications. Processes new purchase orders into the system, which includes: Determining, and confirming, when necessary, where the order is to be printed based on: Volume of order Graphics on label Press availability Cutting die/cylinder availability Customer expectations Including any information that is specific to that particular customer, including: Special rewind requirements Special delivery/shipment instructions Sample requirements Notifying all pertinent plant personnel of any special orders: Purchasing --- if stock needs to be ordered, or special inks are required Production --- if die needs to be tested All --- of large or rush orders Ensuring that the customer is current with receivables and not over credit limit Once all the above is in place, CSR creates a job order for production and routes it to the Production and/or art department. The job order will include all of the information needed to produce the label to the customer---s specifications. Routes supplies and materials such as paste-ups, artwork, copy, film, or prints, to work areas to put job order into production. Confers with customers and Sales Representatives throughout production to Keep them informed on the status of orders Make changes to orders in process as requested by customer Orders supplies as necessary Resolve inquiries and investigate complaints Follow up on approvals of pricing, art, etc. Resolve production issues that may delay the shipment of an order Prioritize orders as necessary, which may require selecting from several alternatives to best service the customers--- needs. Receives tickets for shipped or delivered product and begins billing process, verifies shipping report against packing lists, and reviews Customer Transaction report. Addresses customer questions and complaints: gathers all available data, pulls job jacket and examines tear sheets. Requests samples from customer as needed and compares to specifications. Works with customer to arrive at a satisfactory resolution, conferring with management prior to issuing credits, replacing order, or offering addition product with future orders Company Description GreenKiss Staffing Solutions, Inc. has a combined experience of over 20 years in the staffing industry providing talent nationally.
