Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Permanent Position: Ultrasound tech - Vascular Perm - Ultrasound - Vascular (Days) Claremont, NH Salary Expectations: $38.31/hour - $50.02/hour Profession: Ultrasound Specialty: Vascular Location: Claremont, NH Shift Type: Days Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Shift Notes: 7a to 530p Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri Weekend Requirements: None On Call Requirements: None Dress Code: Personal scrubs any color EMR: HMS Medhost The primary responsibility of the Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist is: - Selects appropriate equipment for use in ultrasound setup, following exam specifications. - Explains and performs the procedure with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness for the patient. - Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure — makes appropriate physician contact for intervention. - Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. - Selects a transducer and adjusts the equipment controls according to the body part to be examined, the depth of field and other specifications of the test. - Understands and practices proper use of all equipment. - Performs procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols. - Document patient information appropriately. - Adjust and maintain equipment - A Bachelor of Science degree. - [HIGHLY][PREFERRED] - Two years of Ultrasound/Vascular experience. - [REQUIRED] - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)- Currently registered- minimal certifications- RDMS abdomen (AB) and vascular (RVT). - [REQUIRED] - Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) Certification. - [REQUIRED][DOCUMENT] Certification Requirements - ARDMS - BCLS - RVT VRH employees enjoy a low-cost comprehensive benefits program with highlights below:/n/n Free medical and dental plan options/n Vision insurance/n Retirement (403b) with match/n Health Savings Account with employer contribution/n Short Term Disability / Life insurance covered by VRH/n Robust ETO accrual with an optional annual cash out/n Onsite wellness initiatives including reimbursements/n Educational Reimbursement About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
