Ultrasound Tech Location: Claremont, NH Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $38 to $50 per hour Shift Information: Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position Permanent (Full Time) Pay Rate: $38.31/hour - $50.02/hourly. Summary: The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities in arteries and veins. Using Doppler and duplex ultrasound technology, the technologist assists physicians in diagnosing vascular conditions such as peripheral artery disease (PAD), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), carotid artery stenosis, and aneurysms. Responsibilities: Verify patient identity and review physician orders. Obtain relevant medical history related to vascular conditions. Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety. Position patients appropriately for optimal imaging. Monitor patients during exams and respond to urgent findings. Requirements Requirements: A Bachelor of Science degree. Highly Preferred. Two years of Ultrasound/Vascular experience. Required. American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)- Currently registered- minimal certifications- RDMS abdomen (AB) and vascular (RVT).
