Job Description:
Join Encompass Health as a Speech Pathologist, where you will
deliver exceptional, integrated healthcare services in a
facility-based or home-based setting. Our focus on post-acute

In this role, you will assess, diagnose, treat, and help to prevent
communication and swallowing disorders in patients. Working within
our collaborative healthcare team, you will contribute towards
developing patient treatment plans and maintaining accurate
records, all aimed at achieving optimal patient recovery. Evaluate
patients' communication and swallowing abilities using a variety of
diagnostic techniques and tools. Develop individualized treatment
plans based on patient needs and conditions. Implement and adapt
speech therapy interventions and strategies. Document and maintain
patient records regarding assessment, treatment plans, progress,
and discharge summaries. Educate patients, family members, and
caregivers about communication strategies and coping mechanisms.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic
care and ensure continuity of care. Stay current with new treatment
techniques and updates in speech pathology practice. Strong
analytical and diagnostic skills Proficiency in using speech
therapy tools and technology Excellent verbal and written
communication skills Ability to build rapport with patients and
work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Organizational and detailed reporting skills Medical Insurance

Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in
