Care Location: Portland, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,346 per
week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Portland, Maine, 04102! Registered Nurse -
Intensive Care Unit Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty:
Intensive Care Unit/CCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7P - 7A Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Cannot accept first-time
travelers Description: ASAP start needed. Manager interviews will
be conducted. Every other weekend is required. Unit Information:
There are 200 licensed beds available. The unit has 8 beds. Average
census is 6-7 patients daily. Patient ratios are 2:1 in ICU and
3-4:1 in IMC. Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: The patient
population varies and includes adults. A mix of ICU and IMC level
of care is provided. Support within the Department: Certified
Nursing Assistants assist with ADLs, blood sugar checks, and vital
signs. Charge nurses are available. Phlebotomy is performed by
nurses. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Hospitalists are
present 24/7. Intensivists are available during the day and on call
at night if needed. Nurses perform telemetry monitoring.
Technology/Equipment: EMR used is Cerner. IV pumps are BD Alaris.
Medication dispensing is managed through Pyxis. Monitors from GE
are utilized. Scheduling: There is a weekend rotation every other
week. Holiday expectations vary. Requests for time off are approved
by the manager. Shift times are from 07:00 - 19:30 and 19:00 -
