The University of Vermont Medical Center, a leader in healthcare innovation and community wellness, is currently seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team in Burlington, VT. As a key member of our medical imaging team, you will leverage advanced radiologic technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients in a cutting-edge, supportive environment dedicated to patient care and medical excellence. Perform complex radiographic procedures under the direction of a physician, including vascular, neurologic, and oncologic imaging. Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting any issues. Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess patient care plans and deliver precise medical imaging services. Adhere to safety protocols and radiation dose standards to ensure patient and staff safety. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data. Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of advances in radiologic technology. Proficiency in the use of interventional radiology equipment and technologies. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress environment. Medical Insurance Certified Radiology Technologist (CRT) licensure. Registered Technologist Vascular-Interventional Radiography (RT(VI)R) certification preferred.
