Ultrasound Tech Location: Burlington, VT Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 7 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Sonographer (Nights) Burlington, VT Fulltime The Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound imaging on the night shift, supporting inpatient and emergency needs in a fast paced environment. The technologist ensures high quality images, patient safety, and accurate documentation in accordance with departmental protocols. Key responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders and established protocols. Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Optimize image quality and adjust equipment for accurate imaging and measurements. Document studies and preliminary findings in the imaging/EMR systems. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other care team members to support timely diagnosis. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or two year allied health equivalent. ARDMS registration with ABD and/or OB/GYN credential. Minimum two years of paid scanning experience. Preferred: Level I trauma center experience; Epic EMR experience.
