OVERVIEW OF ROLE
Match has an opening for a part-time Social Worker (LICSW) who can provide clinical supervision to school social workers and interns across Matchs three school campuses: Match High School on 1001 Commonwealth Ave. in Brighton, Match Middle School on 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain, and Match Community Day on 100 Poydras St. in Hyde Park. This job is approximately 30 hours/week and could include some direct work with students and families. The Social Worker will collaborate closely with leadership to effectively meet the clinical needs of the school social workers and interns. - Qualified candidates need to be Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LICSW).
The salary range for full-time social workers new to Match is $67,812-104,899 and is determined by the candidates prior years of full-time counseling experience. The salary for this position will be prorated for part-time work. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of employee health insurance costs and up to $150/month in loan repayment assistance. -

OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Social Worker will:

• 
  
• Provide clinical supervision to school social workers and interns at all three Match schools
  
• Give individual and group counseling using evidence-based treatment modalities
  
• Contribute collaboratively to school culture as part of the Mental Health Department
  
• Approach all work with a trauma-sensitive, strengths-based lens that both honors and incorporates the cultural values and beliefs of our students, families and communities
  
• Uphold high expectations for students, and provide lots of support for getting students there;
  
• Participate actively in Matchs coaching and professional development programming;
  
• Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; and
  
• Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community
  
  -QUALIFICATIONS
  Competitive applicants have:
  
  • 
    
  • Two or more years experience as a school-based social worker (strongly preferred);
    
  • A master's degree in Social Work (LICSW);
    
  • Extensive case management and clinical assessment skills;
    
  • Experience working on teams and the desire to work across multiple settings with behavioral health and non-mental health providers;
    
  • Belief that all students can and will succeed; and
    
  • A desire to continually improve their practice as a school professional by taking and implementing feedback. -
