moreResponsibilitiesSupport end-to-end commissioning processes and
project delivery for new and retrofit projects, ensuring facilities
operate as intended and meet contract requirements.Manage, plan,
coordinate, and develop site-specific commissioning activities as
part of the Quality Control plan.
- Manage commissioning activities for both new construction and
retrofit projects, ensuring seamless delivery and operational
readiness.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and
construction teams to enhance project delivery and compliance.
- Implement project policies and procedures to support schedules,
contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with site-based QC and MEP teams to ensure
documentation and activities align with plans.
- Understand project milestones, client/CM requirements, and
third-party plans to support project turnover.
- Integrate commissioning timelines into overall project
schedules, including testing and inspections.
- Ensure resources and documentation are ready before
energization and monitor progress.
- Represent the team in start-up and commissioning meetings,
communicating progress and issues.
- Develop commissioning plans for MEP systems, including testing
and documentation.
- Provide on-site support for MEP startup, testing, and owner
training.
- Assist in functional testing to verify system performance.
- Review contract documents to ensure alignment with construction
and commissioning activities.
- Lead pre-installation meetings to communicate scope and
expectations.
- Oversee punch list prevention and resolve deficiencies.
- Coordinate third-party inspections and testing, ensuring timely
corrective actions.Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years in commercial construction or MEP design,
estimation, or construction.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related
field.
- Skills: 30-hour OSHA certification desirable; LEED
accreditation preferred; familiarity with BIM required.Additional
