Key responsibilities:

• Works with multiple functional groups to meet business needs.
• Plans and organizes work with periodic supervision.
• Trains on routine operation, maintenance and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs and regulatory procedures and guidelines.
• Ensures QA findings are addressed appropriately.
• Aids and training to other team members.
• Problem solving, either independently or with assistance Communicates project status to project leader.
• Performs work assignments accurately, and in a timely and safe manner.
• Experience in a fast-paced GMP environment
• Understands and maintains a safe work environment for themselves and others in accordance with procedural requirements
• Understands, implement and maintains GMP with respect to laboratory records, procedures and systems in accordance with procedural requirements
• Perform lab support activities as necessary and provide support for department
• Accepts responsibility to complete assigned tasks as committed. Works with others to maintain a positive atmosphere to accomplish business objectives
• Support investigations Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
  • Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years')
  • OR Masters degreeIn some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority and ICH guidelines
    • Ability to understand and independently apply GMPs and /or GLPs to everyday work with regard to documentation an instrument use
    • Ability to apply Microsoft Excel and Word to perform tasks
    • Empower software a plus
    • Ability to independently optimize analytical methods
    • Good written and oral communication skills
    • Time management and project management skills
    • Problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
    • Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a team
