In our "relentless pursuit of next", Barnes Industrial's Molding Solutions SBU is seeking a dynamic and progressive Human Resources business partner to serve as Regional HR Director for the Americas. This position is a key member of the MS Global HR Leadership team and the MS-Americas Leadership Team and is expected to play an integral role in providing strategic advice, guidance, and support to the leadership team in the areas of talent management and engagement, and organizational design and effectiveness. - The ideal candidate should have a strong human resources generalist background, have a track record of driving HR best practices across the business and understands the full spectrum of talent management and can effectively facilitate and apply it globally. -In alignment with the Barnes values and our Barnes Enterprise System, the candidate will help cultivate a high-performance culture, and partner with leadership to develop and implement business aligned HR processes that promote a positive and engaged workplace committed to driving the business to next level of performance and success. - - Core Responsibilities: -

  • Provides human resources leadership, consultation, and advice to MS-Americas leadership team, regarding the alignment of human resources initiatives with business goals and objectives to support and facilitate the achievement of its performance objectives and profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Aligned with the Barnes and Barnes Industrial HR Strategy, effectively leverages the complete Talent Management System (TMS) to support the growth and advancement of our people and the business. Develops and implements effective, value-added human resource solutions that contribute to the company's commitment to achieving profitable, sustainable growth. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
  • Drives and facilitated the effective use of our TMS tools across the business with a style that is collaborative, inclusive, and balanced in approach, to achieve commitments through excellence in application, service, and delivery. -
  • Uses HR data analytics effectively and partners with the business leaders to attract, select and develop the talent needed to build bench strength and improve organizational effectiveness today, as well as in the future based on the strategic goals of the business. Provides guidance to managers/supervisors and employees to support and facilitate effective teaching/coaching, training & development, performance management and recognition.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relations with employees, employee representatives and union representatives, support open communication and providing advice/counsel to facilitate and effective problem resolution process. Serves as a facilitator in change management and HR digitization initiatives. - Has demonstrated ability to adapt and think creatively in response to complex and diverse challenges and needs. -
  • Actively supports and helps the leadership team utilize the full complement of BES - our Total Operating System to drive Commercial, Operational and Financial Excellence. Utilizing our operating system (BES) recommends new approaches, processes, and procedures to facilitate continuous improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of HR services provided. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Qualifications: -
    • 7+ years of human resources leadership experience in a diversified, global, manufacturing environment. Prior industry experience a plus.
    • High-caliber, human resources generalist with experience successfully facilitating and supporting organizational design, performance and influencing cultural change. Global expertise and experience necessary, with an ability to work in a complex and diverse organization.
    • Strong functional background in people selection, talent assessment and development, employee engagement, HR data analytics.
    • A hands-on, pro-active practical approach and a track record of delivering desired outcomes to support the business. Solution oriented. Effective at influencing and making sound decisions based on expertise and grounded in data.
    • Respects individual differences and utilizes the diverse thinking and contributions of all. Works across organization boundaries, encourages teamwork and a sense of partnership. Empowers others to achieve desired results and holds them accountable.
    • Impeccable integrity; superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate and engage personnel at all levels of the organization. Emotionally intelligent change agent who challenges the status quo and acts with a sense of urgency to deliver results.
    • Must be willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally. Education Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree or college/university equivalent in Human Resources or related discipline is required. Advanced degree /diploma highly desirable.
