Job Description Job Description Job Title: Microelectronics Assembler Job Description We are seeking a Microelectronics Assembler for a prominent technology company located in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with the potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and an interest in working with electronics, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this position, you will play a key part in assembling and testing cutting-edge products and systems in production. Responsibilities Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and products following work instructions and drawings. Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements. Understand and interpret assembly processes and work instructions. Work with components ranging from microscopic to large that may require visual magnification. Utilize various hand tools such as tweezers, rulers, and cutters, as well as pneumatic tools like torque drivers and screwdrivers. Maintain accurate data entry related to production processes. Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and engage in continuous improvement efforts. Essential Skills Assembly, hand tool, and production experience. Experience in electronics, mechanical assembly, and soldering. Basic computer skills including the ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred. Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment. Strong work ethic with a reputation for punctuality and reliability. Desire to grow and learn in the role. Troubleshooting skills. Experience with power tools. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role operates on a clean manufacturing floor with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, following 1.5 months of training on the first shift (Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chelmsford, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
