Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machinist Pay: $30 - $40/hr Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday Job Description We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining precision machine tools to produce high-quality parts and components. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Set up and productively operate machines to perform precision machining operations. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Select and install cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor the machining process to ensure quality and accuracy. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications. Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment. Essential Skills Experience as a Machinist. Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations. Ability to assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot machinery. Proficient in the use of hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brockton, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
