Wilmington, MA | $31–$35/hour | Full-Time | 3–5 Years Experience
Tecomet is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to
join our high-performance team in Wilmington, MA. This is a
hands-on role supporting state-of-the-art CNC equipment and
facility operations in a clean, climate-controlled, and fast-paced
precision manufacturing environment. About the Role You’ll be
responsible for preventative maintenance, equipment
troubleshooting, repairs, and facilities support across our medical
device and aerospace manufacturing operations. From CNC equipment
and pneumatic systems to general building upkeep, this role plays a
vital part in ensuring production runs smoothly and safely. What
You'll Do Inspect, diagnose, and perform preventive maintenance on
machinery and equipment Troubleshoot CNC equipment and mechanical
systems Install, repair, and maintain pipe, hydraulic, pneumatic,
and electrical systems Perform general facility maintenance
(painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC) Support inventory management
for maintenance parts and tools Read blueprints, schematics, and
maintenance manuals Operate forklift and perform material handling
tasks Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies efficiently
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Assist
with special projects and cross-functional team needs ? What We're
Looking For High school diploma or equivalent 3–5 years of
experience in mechanical maintenance Working knowledge of CNC
equipment and preventative maintenance Proficiency with calipers,
micrometers, and multimeters Familiarity with HVAC systems and
facility operations Ability to read blueprints and mechanical
drawings Forklift operator's license (or willingness to obtain)
Journeyman’s card a plus, but not required Strong problem-solving
skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and
