Job Description:
As the Sr electrical engineer, you will guide and mentor junior
engineers throughout the product development cycle, translating
product requirements into electrical designs, conducting analyses,
and overseeing detailed design using tools like Altium and OrCAD.
Additionally, take charge of complex electrical component and
subsystem development, particularly high voltage technologies,
collaborating cross-functionally, and interacting with
customers.

Description
This role will report directly into the Director of Engineering and
be responsible for:
Lead and mentor junior electrical engineers in the product
development cycle, translating product requirements into electrical
designs and conducting analyses using tools like Altium and
OrCAD.
Develop and manage system, subsystem, and interface requirements,
including feasibility studies and proofs of concept for high
voltage technologies up to 350KV.
Oversee complex electrical component and subsystem development,
collaborating with cross-functional teams and addressing high
voltage challenges in product design and R&D.
Coordinate subsystem integration with Software, Mechanical, and
Test Engineering, while interfacing with internal and external
stakeholders regarding intricate high voltage electrical
systems.
Support product transition into production by collaborating with
manufacturing and product support teams, as well as suppliers, to
ensure design requirements are met.
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation adhering to
manufacturing and product support quality standards, while actively
participating in design review presentations and prototype
testing.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
5-8+ years designing high voltage electrical systems
AC/DC and power distribution knowledge
High end precision equipment experience
Controls knowledge
