Job Description:
Posting Summary The Department of Animal & Veterinary Sciences
seeks an energetic and ambitious individual who will be responsible
for all aspects of coordinating and running the department’s
teaching laboratories, including yearly oversight of IACUC teaching
protocols for all courses requiring live animal use. The
coordinator is responsible for all training and maintenance of
teaching laboratory equipment as well as training and supervision
of teaching assistants and work study students connected with the
teaching laboratories. Desirable Qualifications Master’s Degree in
Animal Science/Biological Science and previous teaching experience.
Other Information Barn conditions which include inclement weather,
odors, noise, animal and animal transmitted diseases. Requires
walking, standing, driving, hearing and talking. Requires ability
to lift up to 40 lbs.
