School Year: School Year 2024-2025 Salary Range: $120 Per Day Rate
(Substitute Scale School Year 2024-2025) Job Description: We are
seeking reliable and adaptable Elementary & Middle School Daily
Substitute Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidates will
effectively manage classroom environments, implement lesson plans,
and maintain continuity of instruction during the absence of
regular classroom teachers. This job description outlines the core
duties and responsibilities for the position. It is not meant to be
an exhaustive list of all tasks that may be required in this role.
The ideal candidate should be flexible and adaptable in meeting the
evolving needs of the District. Key Responsibilities: Implement
lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure consistent
instruction. Maintain classroom management and discipline in
accordance with school policies. Adapt to various teaching
assignments and grade levels as needed. Communicate any pertinent
information or feedback to school administrators. Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; an
Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience: Prior
experience in a classroom setting or working with children is
advantageous. Skills: Strong classroom management abilities,
effective communication skills, and adaptability to different
educational environments. Additional Requirements: Background check
and fingerprinting as required by Massachusetts regulations.
Completion of any required training or certifications upon hire,
including first aid, CPR, and behavior management training.
