Minds in Motion of NJ LLC is an expanding company that runs STEM enrichment programs for elementary school aged children. Just over 12 years of operation, we are now running programs in 120 venues in 23 states and growing rapidly! We are seeking a fun, enthusiastic, and dynamic teacher with early child education experience to join our team! We are expanding all over Massachusetts and this can lead to more work! Please read the following fully before you apply. - Must be available and committed to the following: Days: 6 Tuesdays Dates: 4/4 thru 5/16 (no class 4/18) Time: 4pm-5pm Program: Solarbot.14 Location: 85 Perkins St. Peabody, MA 01960 To ensure success as a Minds in Motions instructor, you should be able to encourage social and intellectual growth within children and possess a strategic mindset. Ultimately, a top-notch instructor should be a friendly and approachable individual with a passion for teaching and excellent communication skills. Minds in Motion Instructor Responsibilities: Receiving shipped supplies and transporting them to said location. Planning, preparing, and implementing learning materials and supplies, with a curriculum that is provided for project-based learning. Overseeing lesson plans and conducting hands on activities that focus on developing children's STEM knowledge and skills. Interacting with children to provide guidance, emotional support, and motivation to complete tasks. Maintaining an organized and clean classroom environment and ensuring students conduct themselves appropriately. Ensuring that all school rules, policies, and guidelines are adhered to in the classroom. Returning remaining supplies to the company as instructed. Minds in Motion Instructor Requirements: A bachelor's degree or pursuing one in teaching, elementary education, special education, early childhood education, or a similar field preferable. A minimum of 1 year experience working as a teacher, teaching assistant, or a similar role. The ability to foster a fun and safe environment conducive to learning. Classroom management skills and strong knowledge of child behavior and learning patterns. Ability to work with children and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Instructional strategies and the ability to set rules and guidelines for children to follow. Solid organizational skills and ability to maintain a tidy and neat classroom. Programs are fun and easy, and you will be fully trained! Great extra money. Excellent experience.
