Job Description:

Global Partners LP, a leader in energy distribution in the Northeastern U.S., is seeking a qualified Enterprise Controller to oversee our financial operations within our Finance, Accounting & Administration department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our accounting practices, coordinating budget processes, and ensuring financial compliance across all operations. This role is crucial for driving our financial strategy and maintaining the financial health of our expanding enterprise. Direct internal financial control procedures including budgeting, audits, and compliance. Collaborate with senior management to outline and implement the financial strategy and long-term financial planning. Ensure effective financial reporting and that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported. Streamline accounting functions and operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Manage corporate financial systems, conduct risk analyses, and oversee financial reporting processes. Develop and monitor performance metrics, and manage budget preparation and submission. Liaise with external auditors and cooperate on audit findings to ensure corrective action. Strong proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills Expertise in GAAP and financial regulations Excellent analytical, decision-making, and management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of an organization Ability to strategize and solve problems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred MBA or Master's in Finance/Accounting is an advantage
