Fidelity Investments, a global leader in financial services with a robust presence in Boston, MA, is seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Manager for our Alternative Investments sector. In this role, you will oversee and enhance the risk management framework for a diverse portfolio that includes private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and commodities, among others. This opportunity provides the chosen candidate a strategic position to impact our approach to risk across high-impact investment vehicles while ensuring alignment with regulatory practices and company objectives. Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework tailored for alternative investments. Identify, analyze, and report on investment risks in accordance with internal and external requirements. Collaborate with portfolio managers to integrate risk management practices into the investment decision-making process. Lead stress testing and scenario analysis to forecast potential impacts on investment portfolios. Stay abreast of market trends that may affect portfolio risk and adjust risk strategies accordingly. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and internal policies. Mentor and develop a team of risk professionals. Expertise in alternative investment strategies and their associated risks. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Proficient in risk assessment software. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or equivalent is preferred. CFA or FRM certifications are beneficial.
