Creative Financial Staffing is working with a highly reputable non-profit on the North Shore their search for an Accountant. This position will report directly to the Head of Finance. Accountant Highlights:

  Accountant Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  
  • 
    
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation and postings of activity for investment pools, including communicating and resolving issues with the investment managers and posting of information to the general ledger
    
  • Reconcile bank account statements to general ledger balances on a monthly basis and prepare journal entries
    
  • Prepares account reconciliations, journal entry preparation as part of quarterly budget review and general ledger close as well as annual audit
    
  • Process the bi-weekly payroll and benefits administration for about 40 employees
    
  • Verify tax and 401k deposits are correct and made in a timely manner.
    
  • Verify and edit imported entries from Payroll processor.
    
    Accountant Requirements:
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
      
    • Accounting and Payroll experience required
      
    • Nonprofit experience required
