Job Description:
Position: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Burlington, MA) Duties: Design and execute QA automation tests for speech
recognition technology products and components. Develop new feature and
product regression test strategies and best practices. Implement
automation frameworks, and automate manual test cases to establish the
regression testing of speech recognition applications. Create and drive
automation feature and regression testing, maintain automation frameworks,
and create test scripts to compare and validate data results from software
testing. Review project test plans, develop QA standards, and resolve all
technical and logical issues related to executable test cases. Design and
execute complex automation frameworks, scripts, tools, and test cases to
verify software functionality and adherence to business requirements.
Research and develop architectural improvements to existing test automation
frameworks in order to ensure that speech recognition technology solutions
are flexible, reliable and consistent across applications. Design
and support internal testing tools, and research new technologies for
integration with automation frameworks. Leverage understanding of automated
testing tools, architecture, techniques, coding languages, and methodologies to
conduct Object Character Recognition (OCR) research and develop improved
test automation framework solutions. Interface with remote test
automation teams regarding coding processes and methodologies, executable test
cases, and automation related challenges. Drive the development of the
overall automation strategy, roadmap, standards, and processes for
speech recognition technology products. Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in
Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems,
Mathematics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience developing QA
automation tests for speech recognition technology products; or in the
alternative, a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related
field and five (5) years of experience as indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): automating tests
leveraging Silk Test tool, VB, C++, Java, and SQL in an enterprise software
development environment; DE building and implementing test automation
frameworks and architecting scripts to support product development strategies;
DE driving automation strategies, approaches, and best practices for voice
recognition technology products; and DE interfacing with manual test teams
to gather project requirements, delegate tasks, and implement test
